Mathew’s Story

“Our son Matthew, aged 2 adores the Woodlands playgroup.  He runs in every day with a smile on his face, looking forward to a session of fun, care and constructive play. We really appreciate the care, love and attention they give to our son - it is outstanding. Thank you” Carol Gee

Molly’s Story

molly_3.JPG“Our daughter Molly attended Woodlands from the age of 2 until she started full-time schooling. Molly is unable to walk un-aided and when she first joined Woodlands was only able to crawl. We were awarded SCAMP funding which paid for a one-to-one support worker for Molly. Whilst at Woodlands we watched Molly blossom and develop in every way. She progressed onto a walking frame which the staff accommodated brilliantly in such a small area and by the end of her time there she was able to join in with walks around the grounds. Molly adored her sessions at Woodlands. The activities are fun as well as educationally stimulating and include painting, role-play, story-telling and out-door play. Her one-to-one was extremely skilled in thatmolly_painting.JPG she gave Molly enough support whilst at the same time allowing her to be as independent as possible and to join in with the other children.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Woodlands for a child with additional needs. It is a safe and nurturing environment and I was able to leave Molly in their care without any worries at all” Judith Louden

   William’s Story

“Our son has attended Woodlands playgroup for over a year now and we have been delighted with every aspect of the care. The staff are welcoming, supportive and happy to update us on daily activities and progress. He is content and confident in the setting and I believe the socialisation and interaction with staff and peers are preparing him for school next year and life in the future. I look forward to his sister being able to spend time in such a warm, nurturing environment.” Abby
